Radiology Technologist-WPP
About The Position
The Radiology Technologist operates radiographic equipment to produce quality radiographs of designated portions of the body under a physician’s direct order and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. The position requires urgent care skills, including pediatric care. The technologist provides patient care in a timely, professional, efficient, and safe manner and works interdependently with other medical professionals to deliver quality health care. Under a physician’s direction, the technologist provides direct patient care and performs specific services to address patients’ personal needs and comfort.
Requirements
- Registered Technologist for Radiography licensure is required.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical radiology experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate radiographic equipment to obtain quality radiographs of designated body areas under a physician’s direct order.
- Follow radiation safety procedures.
- Provide timely, professional, efficient, and safe patient care, including urgent care for pediatric patients.
- Work interdependently with other medical professionals to provide quality health care.
