About The Position

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join their team. This PRN/Casual role is ideal for someone passionate about X-Ray and providing excellent customer service to patients. The Radiology Technologist will deliver expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care, ensuring a high standard of quality and service to patients, physicians, and customers both within and outside the radiology department.

Requirements

• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification in all practice specialty areas within one year of hire or transfer date.
• Currently licensed in the state of Nebraska as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program within 30 days of hire (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

Nice To Haves

• Experience in diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups.
• Ability to work at a fast pace.
• Experience with multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and radiology information system and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS).

• Provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care.
• Assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians, and customers in and outside the radiology department.
