The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention. They exercise professional judgment, deliver appropriate care, and comply with all state and federal regulations. This role involves assessing patient conditions, providing instructions, acquiring clinical history, positioning patients and equipment, and ensuring high-quality images. The technologist must also apply radiation safety principles, adhere to quality control standards, administer medical aid if necessary, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, they may assist in supervising student technologists and utilize computer systems effectively.
