About The Position
A hospital near Texarkana, Texas, is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist. The role performs routine and advanced imaging procedures, supports other imaging technologists as needed, and helps maintain smooth, efficient patient flow. The technologist troubleshoots basic maintenance and issues related to image processing and the image archiving system, participates in quality assurance, and maintains imaging competencies established by management. The position also requires adherence to administrative and departmental policies, including standards for conduct, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an accepted and approved equivalent.
- ARRT certification.
- Basic computer experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures.
- Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed.
- Help facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
- Participate in quality assurance.
- Adhere to imaging competencies outlined by management.
- Follow administrative and departmental policies and standards for behavior, dress, attitude, attendance, confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability.
