The technologist is responsible for the continuity of care, educating patients on radiological procedures, and assisting in data collection for quality assurance programs. They will also manage their assigned area, ensuring equipment and supplies are available, adhere to downtime procedures, and maintain responsibility for their own professional development through continuing education. A peer review of films and knowledge of patient condition and relevant information for examinations are also key aspects of this role.
