About The Position

St. Anthony Summit Hospital is a Level III trauma center recognized for its patient experience and as a great place for nurses to work. We offer a full range of medical specialties and health care services to the region. We are seeking a Radiology Technologist (RT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide quality patient care, perform high-quality images and exams while adhering to safe radiation practices, demonstrate leadership, and act as a clinical resource to students, staff, and other personnel. You will assure current standards of practice for the unit.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
• HS diploma or GED required
• Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required
• Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
• Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
• Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel.
• Assure current standards of practice for the unit.

• $6k Seasonal Incentive for External Radiology Techs (PRN not eligible)
• $400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at facility in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible)
