About The Position

OrthoArizona is hiring immediately for a Radiologic Technologist to join their elite team of renowned orthopedic specialists. This role offers an energetic work environment and a path to professional growth at various locations across the Valley. New graduates are welcome to apply. The role does not require performing Fluoroscopy or involvement in surgery. The pay is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. The schedule includes 8-hour shifts with no weekends, no major holidays, and no on-call duties. The location is Avondale, AZ. Requirements

1 – 2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program
Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
Maintain CPR certification

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
Explain all procedures to patients being sure all of their questions are answered
Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
Document patient care services in chart
Import outside imaging to office PACS
Scan documents into EMR
Maintains accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations
Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and reports any malfunctions.
