About The Position

Midwest Orthopaedic Consultants is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our clinics in Orland Park, IL and Oak Lawn, IL. Requirements

Certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Active license with Illinois Emergency Management Administration (IEMA)

2+ years of experience in radiography in a high volume orthopedic clinical setting

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to help physicians determine a diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan.
Act as an advocate for the patient, keeping their best interests at the forefront at all times.
Educate the patient on the procedure to reduce their anxiety and provide comfort.
Position the patient to ensure the best image possible and complete the procedure.
Monitor patients' conditions and reactions and report any abnormal signs to the physician.
Check the quality of the images and repeat if necessary.
