Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Operates equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines; ensures the quality of images is satisfactory for clinical purposes. Sanford Rural Health Network Facility sites may expand job responsibilities based on the needs of the facility, to include, but not limited to: on-call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays. Perform diagnostic radiology procedures. Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and aware of general radiology protocols. May perform mobile imaging, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitor placement, and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) procedures. Occupational Medicine clinics may have expanded job duties based on facility needs including preforming routing testing, and sampling and other technical services to support Occupational Medicine and Employee Health Services, including but not limited to, drug screens, breath alcohol testing and audiograms as well as administrative and/or clinical support.
