Radiology Technologist Fulltime Weekends 7a-7p (5K Sign-On Bonus)
About The Position
This is a technical position requiring training in the field of radiology technology. The individual is responsible for performing radiographic examinations, assisting radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies, and performing exams in the operating room and the emergency room. The role requires complete competency to operate all routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic equipment, performing exams in a timely manner to ensure efficient room turnaround. The technologist must accurately perform all routine procedures, including arthrograms, venograms, myelograms, lumbar puncture, sialograms, barium studies, and any study requiring contrast injection. The ability to assess and correct film quality is essential. The role also involves completing all computer procedures for quality management, including ordering, tracking, and canceling exams. Competent and timely performance of exams in the emergency room and surgery is required. The technologist must be able to operate all portables and C-Arm equipment, maintaining a repeat rate of less than 5%.
Requirements
- Graduate of School of Radiological Technology
- Graduate from an approved two year radiology program
- American Registry of Radiology Technology
- Proficiency in radiological technology
Responsibilities
