About The Position

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, primarily X-ray, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating pediatric patients in a PRN (as-needed) capacity. Ensures patient safety and comfort while producing high-quality images.

This is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of pediatric orthopedics experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately position patients and ensure that quality radiographic images are produced.
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
• Communicate and document patient images.
• Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
• Maintain an ongoing plan for personal growth and self-development.
• Demonstrate professional role requirements in communication with peers and supervisor, and flexibility during unexpected work-related events.
