About The Position
Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical & Vibra, is seeking a per diem Radiology Technologist in Bowling Green, KY. This role involves preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining the process, and properly positioning them for imaging. The technologist will operate equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues.
Requirements
- Current and valid state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
- Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years experience in Medical Imaging field (not including school)
- Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable
Responsibilities
- Preparing the patient for diagnostic procedures
- Explaining the process of the scans to the patient
- Properly positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images
- Correctly operating equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's bones, organs and tissue
