This position offers a great schedule, typically 3 days per week, mostly day shifts. It includes call and a weekend rotation of approximately every 6th weekend. The position is open to either 20 or 24 hours per week, depending on the candidate. This role may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. They operate equipment to produce diagnostic images according to patient cases and relevant guidelines, ensuring image quality is satisfactory for clinical purposes. Responsibilities include accurate patient positioning, conducting image operations according to provider requests and technical factors, and implementing radiation safety guidelines and proper radiation protection practices. The technologist delivers excellent patient care and education, understands and navigates the electronic medical record (EMR) system, and is willing to perform additional duties as assigned. At Sanford Rural Health Network Facility sites, job responsibilities may expand to include on-call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays, performing basic diagnostic radiology tasks, mobile imaging, EKGs, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures. In Occupational Medicine clinics, duties may include routing testing, sampling, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, and audiograms, as well as administrative and/or clinical support.
