About The Position

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. The technologist will apply principles of radiation protection, comply with regulations, and provide the best possible images for interpretation. This role follows the Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (within 180 Days)
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (Upon Hire)
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association (Upon Hire)
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross (Upon Hire)

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.
• Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations.
• Provides the best possible images for interpretation.
• Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate.
• Follows Corewell health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
