About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join their Orthopedics Department at Baptist Silverleaf in St. Augustine, FL. This is a Full-Time, Day Shift opportunity. The role involves preparing rooms, positioning patients for diagnostic imaging, collaborating with healthcare professionals, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and care. The technologist will perform high-quality radiographic procedures, foster positive relationships with colleagues and patients, report to the Lead Technologist, and maintain compliance with educational and health requirements. Experience with pediatrics and medication administration is also noted.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required OR Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required OR Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required
Nice To Haves
- Customer Service Experience
- Radiology/Imaging Experience
- Experience working in a hospital setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
- Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
- Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Comfortable with Pediatrics
- Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy.
