About The Position
Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists is looking for a Supplemental Radiology Technologist to join their team. This position involves completing all radiological exams by following specific equipment procedures, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The role may also include assisting other clinical staff with room cleaning, rooming patients, and taking medical histories, while staying in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required; If registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire into this job classification
- Knowledge of current medical standards and regulations
- Interpersonal/human relations skills; provides professional, positive customer service to all patients and works well with other staff
- Ability to maintain and accurately record EHR files
Responsibilities
- Completes all radiological exams
- Carries out tests by following the procedures for use of the specific equipment required
- Provides excellent customer service to patients
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Assists other clinical staff with cleaning rooms, rooming patients and doing Medical Histories (if necessary)
- Stays in compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patients and/or other clinic personnel
