About The Position

Radiologic Technologist – Part-Time (10 Hours/Week) Location: Rocky Mountain Orthopedics Pay Range: $29.14 – $44.94/hour (dependent on experience) Join a High-Impact Orthopedic Care Team Are you a skilled Radiologic Technologist looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic setting? This is an ideal opportunity for a technologist who values autonomy, patient connection, and working closely with providers in a collaborative outpatient environment. What You’ll Do As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment while ensuring the highest level of patient care and image quality. You will partner with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to deliver timely and accurate results.

Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete Medical Assistant (MA) competency checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic setting
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and imaging techniques
  • Image evaluation and quality assessment
  • Proficiency in equipment operation and electronic imaging systems
  • Understanding of contrast protocols and emergency response
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency across all clinical and technical functions
  • Verify patient identification and orders; prepare patients for imaging procedures
  • Perform exams according to department protocols and evaluate images for quality and accuracy
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and a safe working environment
  • Complete studies efficiently without compromising care or quality
  • Assist in training and mentoring students and fellow technologists
  • Educate patients, ensure comfort, and address questions or concerns
  • Follow infection control and sterile technique guidelines
  • Operate imaging equipment and related systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Accurately document procedures, patient information, and any adverse reactions
  • Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control, and equipment reporting
