About The Position

Utah Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our PRN team. This position supports a variety of clinical areas throughout the hospital and is ideal for a caregiver who enjoys a dynamic environment, diverse patient populations, and utilizing a broad range of radiology skills. The PRN position requires working a minimum of one shift per pay period and participation in the department's on-call rotation. Caregivers will float throughout the hospital and imaging department based on staffing and patient care needs.

Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
• Radiologic technologist license in state of practice (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with fluoroscopy, operating room imaging, and minor procedures
• Experience working in a hospital-based radiology department
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a variety of clinical settings
• Comfortable floating across multiple clinical areas and patient populations
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
• IV Certification

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams across a variety of patient care settings, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and procedural environments
• Support fluoroscopy, operating room cases, and minor procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other caregivers to provide safe, high-quality patient care
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience while producing quality diagnostic images
• Adapt to changing patient volumes, staffing needs, and clinical priorities throughout the hospital
