About The Position
As a Radiology Technologist/Radiology Practical Technician, you will be responsible for performing all approved x-ray procedures and completing necessary documentation in a very busy pediatric clinic. You will work with children of all ages and must possess a special set of patient-interaction skills.
Requirements
- Must have a current Radiology Technologist License or Radiology Practical Technician license in the State of Utah.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member within a very busy clinic.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
- Knowledge of universal precaution procedures in medical safety practices.
Nice To Haves
- One year of pediatric experience strongly desired.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic medical x-rays and routes to provider/radiologist for review.
- Documents x-rays taken for each patient.
- Contact patients/parents with x-ray results.
- Performs and documents daily quality control and instrument cleaning and maintenance.
