About The Position
Newberry County Memorial Hospital is seeking a PRN / On-Call Radiology Technologist (RAD/CT) to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role is ideal for a patient-focused professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative, compassionate environment. Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Radiology Technologist performs computerized tomography (CT) and radiographic procedures of designated anatomical areas as ordered, in accordance with established practices and departmental protocols. This position supports our mission of providing high-quality care in a personal, community-focused healthcare setting.
Requirements
- ARRT registered and/or registry-eligible in CT with current certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
Nice To Haves
- Previous radiology or CT experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to established protocols
- Maintain equipment and comply with hospital and regulatory standards
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff
