About The Position

Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist (PRN)! We are seeking a flexible and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to support our InstaCare team at Cottonwood. This PRN role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly, and is willing to support coverage needs including time off, sick calls, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll work in a fast-paced urgent care environment, providing high-quality imaging to a diverse patient population. New graduates are welcome to apply. Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
  • Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years radiology experience
  • IV Certification

Responsibilities

  • Maintains ARRT competency and performs radiographic exams per protocol
  • Ensures proper patient identification, positioning, and image quality
  • Reviews images for clarity and diagnostic accuracy
  • Adheres to radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards
  • Completes exams and documentation accurately and within expected timeframes
  • Supports clinic workflow and provides patient education and comfort
  • Operates imaging equipment and systems (including PACS) effectively
  • Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, and reporting issues
