Requirements

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care
• Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
• Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program
• Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director
• Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub‑department inventory
• Supports scheduling for assigned sub‑departments
• Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service
• Processes and transmits images to PACS
