About The Position
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Technologist I for a 12-week assignment in Redding, CA. This role is within the Radiology Department and offers both Day and Night shifts. The position involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, serving as the first point of contact for patients, and participating in performance improvement and quality control activities. The technologist will also be responsible for processing and transmitting radiographic images to the PACS system.
Requirements
- Must have Current CRT issued by CDPH
- Must obtain fluoroscopy permit by CDPH
- Must obtain venipuncture certificate.
- ARRT-R is required.
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and HFAP, TJC, CMS, state, and federal regulations
- Serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience and meeting imaging needs
- Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities
- Processes and transmits radiographic images to the PACS system
