About The Position
Harborview Medical Center – Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST, CT. This is a 100% FTE Day shift position. Radiology Services at Harborview Medical Center offers a full complement of radiology tests and imaging procedures, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography).
Requirements
- Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist
- Satisfactory completion of formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients.
- Provide the appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure.
- Participate in the Department QA and QC functions by assisting in the collection of data, and making recommendations as to problems and possible solutions.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff, technologist, researchers, and students.
