About The Position

Beloit Health System at Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. In this role, the Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular care. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence, demonstrates strong technical expertise in imaging and radiation safety, and thrives in a fast-paced environment dedicated to achieving exceptional patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • Must have active WI License and current ARRT.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • High degree of self-motivation and commitment.
  • Ensure continued professional growth- must complete 12 hours of continuing education per year.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise in other areas of radiology procedures to assist staffing needs if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of preparing and executing Cardiac Catheterizations, Interventional IR and EP procedures, and all other exams performed in the department with or without the use of ionizing radiation.
  • Greet patients in a friendly but professional manner and ensure delivery of professional services.
  • Meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.
  • Maintain neat and accurate records.
  • Responsible for scrubbing, panning the procedural table, and monitoring/documenting cardiovascular cases.
  • Assists in the ambulatory patient care area performing duties as assigned by RNs and/or Clinical Manager or Director.
  • Assist in quality control and assurance checks.
  • Maintains adequate supplies needed for procedures and assist with inventory.
  • Participate in patient and staff education, including radiation safety education.
  • Directly assist the physician within scope of job description.
  • Accurately fill out charge for equipment and procedures performed within the department.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot all imaging and department related equipment.
