About The Position
As a Radiology Technologist Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Radiology team by performing clerical, technical, and patient-related duties according to established protocols. You’ll assist with patient check-in, exam preparation, patient education, and transportation, ensuring a seamless experience for patients across multiple imaging sections and modalities.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required upon hire or during orientation.
Nice To Haves
- Medical knowledge and terminology.
- One (1) year clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient check-in and preparation for exams/procedures.
- Provide patient education and support throughout their visit.
- Help transport patients within the department as needed.
- Perform clerical and technical tasks to support the Radiology team.
- Work across various imaging sections and modalities based on operational needs.
