About The Position

The Radiology Technologist Assistant performs a wide variety of routine duties, including clerical, technical, and patient-related functions. The Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting the Radiology patient care team and providing a broad range of health care services such as patient check-in, order review, preparation for the visit, patient MRI screening, assistance with exams and procedures, and patient transport.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span
• Possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide in the care needed as described in the department’s protocols and procedures
• Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence
