About The Position
This position involves performing specific diagnostic-related duties to provide for the care and comfort of patients under the direction of a Technologist. The role includes assisting the Radiologic Technologist in preparing for various diagnostic procedures, such as imaging management, verifying patient clinical history, assisting with patient immobilization, and performing clearance of MRI patients for screening.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Patient care or customer oriented experience preferred.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Student Radiography experience preferred; enrolled in a JRCERT accredited Radiography Program.
Responsibilities
- Perform specific diagnostic-related duties in providing for the care and comfort of patients under the direction of the Technologist.
- Assist the Radiologic Technologist in preparing for various diagnostic procedures.
- Perform imaging management.
- Verify the patient’s clinical history.
- Assist with patient’s immobilizations.
- Perform clearance of MRI patients for screening.
