Radiology Technician
About The Position
Sherman Oaks Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technician to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, state, federal, and CMS requirements. The technician serves as a primary point of contact for customers and supports the completion of their imaging needs. The role also participates in performance improvement and quality control activities and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS. Sherman Oaks Hospital is a 153-bed, not-for-profit acute-care community hospital in Sherman Oaks, California. It has more than 500 employees and provides 24/7 emergency care alongside specialized medical, surgical, and diagnostic services.
Requirements
- Current CRT issued by CDPH.
- Obtain a fluoroscopy permit from CDPH within 6 months of hire.
- Obtain a venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire.
- ARRT-R required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and must be maintained.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
