About The Position

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technician for their Acute Hospital. Requirements

• Associate Degree in Science required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)

Responsibilities

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Serves Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult patient populations.
• Accesses Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, and Complete Medical Record information.
• Faces occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
• Involves regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
