Radiology Technician - Full Time
About The Position
Partnership Health is a comprehensive outpatient family practice dedicated to serving the employees of Somerset County. Our integrated healthcare model offers convenient access to a wide range of services, including Family Medicine, X-Ray, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic Care, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy services—all under one roof. Partnership Health is seeking a reliable, patient-focused X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. This position includes both radiology and Medical Assistant responsibilities. Candidates with strong X-ray experience but limited Medical Assistant experience are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current radiologic licensure/certification as required by New Jersey regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
Nice To Haves
- ARRT certification preferred
- Medical Assistant experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow all radiation safety and infection control guidelines
- Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational issues
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient histories
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
- Support front-office and clinical operations as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients
