About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist Trainee Program is for those who are 6-8 months away from graduation, can commit to a minimum of six shifts every six weeks, have an active BLS, are in good standing in a JCERT certified program, and hold an active WA state Radiologic Technician license. This is a per diem position, non-benefit eligible. MultiCare does not cover program costs, CPR certification, testing, or license fees. If offered the position, you will be a per diem employee of MultiCare. Two letters of recommendation will be required for applicants who have not completed clinical rotations with MultiCare Health system.

Requirements

6-8 months away from graduation
Can commit to a minimum of six shifts, every six weeks
Have an active BLS
In good standing in a JCERT certified program
Hold an active WA state Radiologic Technician license
Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent
Eligible to take ARRT registry or enrolled in an ARRT accredited program. Must obtain ARRT RT(R) within 12 months of hire.
Washington State license as X-Ray Technician (XT license) required
BLS Certification

Responsibilities

Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment
May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies
Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines
Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team
