About The Position

Athens Orthopedic Clinic is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Radiology Tech on a full time basis for the Madison location. The Radiology Tech is responsible for conducting appropriate radiographs as required by physician order. Candidate should be well versed in use of appropriate equipment to include C-arm and digital x-ray. Planned care is delivered in a safe, economical and efficient manner following AOC’s policies and procedures, values and mission statement. The Radiology Tech will be expected to assist in other areas of the office as deemed necessary to provide patient care. Is responsible for equipment and supplies and for promoting teamwork among patients, families, and physicians.

Requirements

• ARRT certification
• Graduate of an approved Radiology Technology program
• Well versed in use of appropriate equipment to include C-arm and digital x-ray

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic care environment

Responsibilities

• Conducting appropriate radiographs as required by physician order.

• Functioning in the Operating Room and assisting with injections.
