About The Position
Provides patient care services via Diagnostic radiology exams/procedures utilizing Radiograph Equipment as prescribed by physicians. Applies principals of radiation protection. Provides patient care essential to Diagnostic Radiology procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA accredited radiologic technology program or experience commensurate with education.
- Registered as a radiology technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- BLS Certification
- Competency in the science and art of radiologic technology.
- Proficient in medical terminology and proper use of radiologic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient care services via Diagnostic radiology exams/procedures utilizing Radiograph Equipment as prescribed by physicians.
- Applies principals of radiation protection.
- Provides patient care essential to Diagnostic Radiology procedures.
