About The Position
This position is for a Radiology Technologist specializing in CT scans. The role requires rotating call and BLS certification. ARRT and ARRT Advanced Cert are required, along with CT certification. Experience with Siemens equipment is mandatory, and while EPIC is not required, it is preferred. The minimum experience required is 2 years, and first-time travelers with 2 years of experience are welcome. The facility utilizes all Siemens equipment (ED, Inpatient, ICU, Outpatient) which was purchased new in 2020. The facility is a level 1 trauma center with a comprehensive stroke program and is an academic facility with over 300 beds. All scanners are accredited by the American College of Radiology. A Continuing Resource Center is located in the department for earning ASRT CE, Category A. Pyxis med stations are located in each CT room. The shifts are consistently 3x12 hours. Staff have access to individual lockers in a staff-only locker room and individual Ascom phones. Interpreting physician feedback is provided, and patient radiation dose is monitored by an outside physicist, with scanners receiving a 9 out of 10 for appropriate radiation dose.
