About The Position

This position is a temporary assignment with a full-time commitment of 36 hours a week. The role involves demonstrating correct and acceptable radiographic techniques and positioning, operating all equipment, and setting up rooms/equipment appropriate for the ordered exam. The technologist will complete patient screenings, paying attention to pregnancy, contrast, and any contraindications, and will utilize contrast forms for contrast exams. They will also utilize designated communication devices, respond appropriately, and demonstrate knowledge of all emergency equipment/supplies. Concerns related to patient care, safety, or satisfaction should be raised to supervisors and leadership in a timely manner. The work area must be properly maintained, and other duties as assigned will be performed.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
Direct - 2 years of experience
ARRT – R.T.(R) - American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
BLS for Healthcare Providers – AHA - American Heart Association
Radiologic Technologist License - Arkansas Department of Health

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

Responsibilities
