About The Position
As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions. Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction. To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
- One (1) year acute hospital imaging procedures
- Medical Radiographer: CA
- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, Registered Technologist Bone Densitometry, Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, Registered Technologist Mammography, Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, Registered Technologist Quality Management, Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy, Registered Technologist Vascular Inteventional Rad, Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography
- Current BLS through American Heart Association (AHA BLS)
Responsibilities
- Perform quality procedures and radiographs using the appropriate department routine.
- Perform all examinations using all the general radiographic equipment including portables and OR radiographic equipment.
- Select and use proper immobilization and supportive devices when necessary.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the different views associated with each exam.
- Use the correct markers and label all films correctly.
- Mark and label exams correctly.
