About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 220-bed hospital serving northern Utah. They offer a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a focus on patient experience. The Weber Campus, a new 16,000-square-foot facility, provides emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The location offers access to outdoor activities and is near Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, and Salt Lake City.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging to include Surgery and Trauma as required
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers
• HS diploma or GED required
• Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required
• Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.
• Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
• Follows standards of safe radiation practice.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists.
• Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologist and other hospital personnel.
• Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
