Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients accurately, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical exposure factors while closely monitoring for any abnormal activity during procedures.
Capture and deliver high-quality radiologic films to physicians for precise diagnosis, ensuring prompt submission to PACS with correct lead markers, patient data, and clinical history.
Strictly adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients from unnecessary exposure, and safely administer contrast media and medications within the established scope of practice and state/federal regulations.
Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions to appropriate personnel and implementing lock/tag-out procedures when necessary.
Monitor and recommend updates to clinical protocols while maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-stocked department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
