About The Position

Provides patient care services by performing diagnostic radiology exams and procedures using radiograph equipment as prescribed by physicians. Applies principles of radiation protection and provides the patient care essential to diagnostic radiology procedures. This is a PRN or as-needed position with typical hours that vary Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program or experience commensurate with education.
• Registered as a radiology technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• BLS certification.
• Competency in the science and art of radiologic technology.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and proper use of radiologic equipment.
