About The Position

Under the direction of the Chief Technologist performs Radiographic examinations as ordered by the patient's attending physician. Assesses patients, assist the Radiologist in performing fluoroscopic procedures, prepares films for interpretation, maintains patients and departmental records, supplies and equipment. Performs other related duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT registered in good standing
• Current State of Florida License
• Current BLS Certification
• Excellent Customer Service Skills in order to project a positive image of the department and hospital.
• Good working knowledge of anatomy, understand principles of physics, electricity, and methods of exposure to obtain clearly defined radiographs.
• Able to set up and operate all types of equipment that will be used in a modern Radiology Department.
• Know how to process radiographs.
• Sufficient knowledge of psychology, patient care, and sterile technique to deal with all types of conditions of patients.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital Radiology Technician experience preferred.
