About The Position

Saint Louis University Hospital is a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center located in St. Louis, Missouri, providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region. The medical center is a part of the SSM Health System and is affiliated with the Saint Louis School of Medicine. This position requires a Radiology Tech with at least 1 year of experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, and Adult ICU settings. The role involves a call rotation averaging 10 days per month, including weekends. Candidates must be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Locals are not accepted, as candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility. RTO must be submitted with the application, and additional requests are at the manager's discretion. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week, though the facility can low census/cancel up to 36 hours per contract. Scrubs are provided, and onsite parking is available at no fee.

Requirements

  • 1 Year of experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Work Experience with Outpatient, Inpatient and Adult ICU required.
  • Experience with PACS, C-Arm, Contrast and Biopsies is required.
  • Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, Abd and Pelvis and upper/lower extremity is required.
  • Must be able to use and deploy pushable/detachable coils.
  • Must be able to use micro catheters and micro wires.
  • Must be able to use Snare Kits.
  • Must be able to use injector systems, preferable ACIST.
  • Epic experience is required.
  • Candidate must be more than 70 miles from facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiology procedures in Outpatient, Inpatient, and Adult ICU settings.
  • Participate in a call rotation averaging 10 days per month, including weekends.
  • Float within scope to meet facility needs.
  • Utilize PACS, C-Arm, and contrast.
  • Assist with biopsies.
  • Perform procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephogram, peripherals, drainages, vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies, GU, Abd and Pelvis, and upper/lower extremity imaging.
  • Use and deploy pushable/detachable coils.
  • Use micro catheters and micro wires.
  • Use Snare Kits.
  • Use injector systems, preferably ACIST.
  • Utilize Epic for documentation and procedures.
