Performs and completes diagnostic procedures and follows guidelines set by Grant/Riverside and Radiologic Association. This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties. Requirements

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
ORD - Ohio Radiographers - Ohio Department of Health
Graduate of an approved accredited radiology technology program.
Registered with ARRT
Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio

Nice To Haves

Previous CT experence prefered
able to function independently in a fast paced department.

Responsibilities

Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics
Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintains proficiency in each of these areas
Provides radiation safety for operator and patient
Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine.
