About The Position

Under the direction of a board-certified radiologist, this role performs Mammography, CT, and radiographic procedures of various complexities on patients of all age groups. The primary goal is to produce high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. The Radiologic Technologist 2 (Mammography and X-Ray) is a highly skilled professional who uses mammography and radiographic equipment to produce images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders. This role provides screening and diagnostic mammograms and other mammographic procedures to a variety of patients in an outpatient facility. Additionally, the technologist is capable of performing radiographic procedures of various complexities on infant, child, adolescent, adult, and later adult patients, ensuring the production of quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensure: Radiographer.
  • ARRT: Mammography and Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certification: BLS.

  • Associates Degree preferred.
