About The Position
Scheurer Health, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a Full-Time Staff Radiographer to produce x-rays and/or digital images in our modern, well equipped Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Applied Science or Certificate from an AMA Certified Radiologic Technology Program
- Independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
- American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) registered.
- Current BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Opportunity for advanced training in other modalities such as Computed Tomography, Mammography and DEXA
Responsibilities
- Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images ordered by a physician
- Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse imaging team is essential
