About The Position

As our Radiologic Technologist, you will help our patients and their families receive high-quality diagnostic imaging services across all developmental stages so they can achieve accurate diagnoses and better health outcomes. Every day you will perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process. You will be expected to uphold the organization's mission and core values, actively participate in performance improvement initiatives, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong technical skills in operating radiologic equipment, a comprehensive understanding of patient care needs from infancy to geriatrics, and excellent communication abilities to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire
  • Graduate of a Radiology Program, upon hire
  • Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience, upon hire
  • Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
  • Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA, within 90 Days

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Other, upon hire
  • Expanded IV Therapy Course, upon hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of fixed and portable radiographs, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the process.

  • Assure that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
  • Allow for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
  • Identify self by name and title to patient/family.
  • Determine presence/type of Advanced Directive.
  • Report suspected cases of abuse/neglect, if identified.
  • Understand role of, and how to access, the Bioethics Committee.
