About The Position

Oklahoma Heart Hospital is hiring a Radiology Tech or CT Tech to perform radiographic or CT procedures while providing personalized, respectful patient care. The role follows quality and radiation-protection standards, handles confidential patient information, and carries out work in keeping with the hospital’s mission, vision, and values. Radiology Techs perform routine radiographic procedures under the direct supervision of the Radiology Team Leader and the physician reading the exam. They work set days and hours during the week, though schedules may change if shifts are not staffed. The Radiology Team Leader arranges schedules to ensure radiology procedures are available 24 hours a day. CT Techs perform CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiology Team Leader and physicians reading the procedures. The work involves applying independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to obtain CT images. Call is required when no radiographer capable of performing CT scans is available on weeknights or weekends. The role requires the ability to operate radiology equipment and the PACS system safely, use the OHH computer system, position patients and equipment to produce high-quality images, send images to PACS, and complete exams in EPIC. Team members collaborate with physicians and caregivers and contribute to patient-care excellence.
