About The Position

Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist and support patient care across a dynamic network of outpatient clinics. As a PRN Float Pool caregiver, you’ll have the flexibility to provide your availability while supporting clinics across the region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working in different clinic environments. Initial onboarding requires a temporary commitment of 20–30 hours per week, with training typically completed within ~2 months before transitioning to PRN scheduling based on availability.

Requirements

  • ARRT (R) certification (must be fully registered at time of hire)
  • Radiologic Technologist license in state of practice
  • BLS certification for healthcare providers
  • Ability to work independently across multiple clinic locations
  • May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and support clinic workflows as needed

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of radiology experience
  • IV Certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide at least 8 days of availability per 8-week schedule period (about 1 day per week)
  • Work a minimum of 8 shifts per schedule period (6+ hours each)
  • Pick up full-shift coverage when scheduled (partial shifts are not available)
  • Travel to various clinic locations as needed
  • See and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
  • Verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
  • Manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
  • Lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients.
  • Bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
  • Walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
  • Pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
  • Navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
  • Stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
