About The Position
Radiology Technologist Apprentice performs specific task supports under the direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist with diagnostic exams, portables, surgery, fluoroscopy, routine radiographs (invasive and non-invasive). Assists office staff, technologists, radiologists, nurses, and physicians with general patient care, receiving patients in the exam rooms, taking patient history and documentation, patient transfers, patient transportation, and clerical duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Rad Tech or Ultrasound program.
Responsibilities
- Performs specific task supports under the direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist with diagnostic exams, portables, surgery, fluoroscopy, routine radiographs (invasive and non-invasive).
- Assists office staff, technologists, radiologists, nurses, and physicians with general patient care.
- Receives patients in the exam rooms.
- Takes patient history and documentation.
- Assists with patient transfers.
- Assists with patient transportation.
- Performs clerical duties.
