Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service role
  • Experience with computers and Windows based programs
  • Must be 18+ years of age or older
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a busy work environment with frequent interruptions
  • Solid observational and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a clinic or hospital
  • Proven understanding of Medical Terminology as it relates to Radiology

Responsibilities

  • Assists technical staff with patient flow and schedule management
  • Greets patients, completes exam pre-screening and rooms/changes patients for imaging exams
  • Answers patient questions within scope
  • Helps prepare exam room for patients, gets patients on and off exam table and escorts them back to their dressing room
  • Provides scheduling support as needed for follow up exams and walk-up patients
  • Provides general administrative support as needed to the technologists and radiologist on site
  • Promotes a positive and productive work environment by acting maturely and responsibly, satisfactorily performing his or her job responsibilities and conducting themselves in a professional, courteous and respectful manner toward fellow employees, physicians and patients
  • Complies with corporate compliance program and policy
  • Ensures confidentiality of patient information following HIPAA guidelines and TPC policies
  • Attends training to meet requirements of the job position and as needed or mandated by TPC policies, Div. of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH), OSHA, L&I and other state/federal regulations
  • Has regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
